As you move through the city, the app surfaces short, verified snippets that bring streets, buildings, and people to life. Learn something new on the way to work, date night, or the airport.

How It Works:

  1. Toggle History Mode™ on in the app.

  2. Ride through the city and see location-aware cards appear at the right moments.

  3. Tap for more photos, timelines, and links to deeper reads when you want them.

How do I save or share a story

Tap Save to add it to My City List. Tap Share to send a link to friends.

Does it work offline

You can preload recent routes so cards still appear in low signal areas. The app syncs when you are back online.

Where do the stories come from

Partner content from museums, libraries, historians, local guides, and verified contributors.

How often are new stories added

Regularly. Turn on notifications if you want alerts for new drops near you.

Is my location data sold

No. Location powers features on your device. No resale of personal data.

Will this distract the driver

Driver distraction controls keep visuals subtle and audio low. You can switch to Text only or Quiet mode anytime.

Can drivers use History Mode

Yes, with low key defaults. Drivers can keep audio off and view cards later.

Which cities are supported

Check the Cities page in the app. Coverage expands as partners add content.

Does it work with other features

Yes. Pair with RetroVibe for era fit music, Shop and Save for nearby deals, and ScarlettGPT for quick tips.

How do I report an error or suggest a story

Open the card menu and choose Report or Suggest. Our team and partners review submissions.

What if I want zero notifications

Open Settings and disable History Mode alerts. You can still view cards manually.
