What is Music Era Mode?

A music feature that lets you choose 60s through today, plus RetroRide Originals. Built for low distraction.

How do I turn it on or off?

Open the app, toggle Music Era Mode on the trip screen. Use Quiet Ride if you prefer silence.

Can I switch eras mid-ride?

Yes. Tap any era chip to switch instantly. Your volume and Quiet Ride setting stay in place.

Does it affect navigation prompts?

Music auto ducks for turn-by-turn directions so you hear every instruction.

Are the tracks licensed?

Yes. Playlists use licensed catalogs plus RetroRide Originals created for the app.

What about content filters?

Clean versions are on by default. You can adjust in Settings.

Will it drain my battery or data?

It is optimized for mobile. Use normal streaming data. You can lower quality to save data.

Does it record my listening?

Your choices stay in your device settings. No resale of listening data.

Can drivers use it too?

Yes, with distraction-aware defaults. Drivers can also use Quiet Ride.
